In 2024, the piggy-bank truck and the Bel RTL radio mobile studio will set off on a tour to collect small change from all over Belgium. Bérénice and Léon le Bouchon will be calling at RICH’L on Saturday 16 March for the day, and hope you will be generous with your donations.
Operation Small Change is an annual collection of as many as possible of the small-value coins hiding in the depths of our pockets, drawers and piggy banks, in aid of the Télévie telethon appeal that supports cancer research.
Programme for the day:
- From 10am to 6pm: come and drop off your coins in the piggy-bank truck parked on the RICH’L car park.
- From 1pm to 3.30pm: you can be in the audience and meet the presenters of a live radio broadcast from the Bel RTL mobile studio.
Over the last five years, 251 tonnes of small change have been collected, together worth over two million euros.
Help us boost this figure by bringing your small change to RICH’L!
If you can’t make it in person on Saturday 16 March, don’t worry, we have a solution: you can drop off your small change in the piggy banks located by the tills in the shops* at RICH’L.
We’re counting on your help!
